DAY 1 : La Paz/Copacabana/Isla del Sol/La Paz

We begin our day with the transfer from your hotel at 6:45 am and we start our 4-hour trip to the town of Copacabana. On the way, we can appreciate the ‘Cordillera Real’ a mountain range crowned with snow from the Andes.
11:30h
We will arrive in Copacabana around 11:30 am where we will visit one of the most important churches in Bolivia.

All aboard! we will go on a local boat to Isla del Sol (1.5 hrs). Our lunch will be a pleasant local buffet lunch called Apthapi. We will have a guided tour of the southern part of the island, where we will discover the steps of Yumani, the fountain of eternal youth, and endless pre-colonial landscapes of the Aymara and Inca cultures.

After 1,5hrs we return to our boat heading to Copacabana, we will have time to discover the central market (try local snacks such as ‘pasank’alla’) and buy some souvenirs. We will take our van back to La Paz at 17:30 p.m., arriving at your hotel at 21:30 pm.
